Andrew McDonough is a retired college professor and spent most of his 30+ years teaching and doing research at New York University. He has worked in Moscow, Russia where he and his wife Nancy taught at the Anglo-American School of Moscow. Andy also taught at the Paterson Youth Photography Project (PYPP) – a non-profit organization that offered photography classes for inner-city kids in and about Paterson, New Jersey. He was a teacher there for six years. Andy is a semi-professional photographer and shoots digital (Canon DSLR) images. He considers himself a nature and landscape photographer but also likes to shoot still life, street scenes, architecture, windows and doors, and window reflections. He also does macro photography. He has a well-equipped digital darkroom and works out of his house in Hillsdale, New Jersey. All of the shots displayed on this site are in digital format or have been processed digitally using Photo Shop© and Lightroom©. He also sells images on Shutterstock, a stock photography site.
